He joined the Devils as a Foundation Member in May 2021 and while not playing, is often out training with the team.

KERRY RAY

Kerry is a native Texan looking for different ways to stay active.

“Old Boss” George Galindo (another foundation member) alerted Kerry to the NTX Devil’s training sessions and he has been an active member ever since!

STEPHEN BASS

He played much of his footy at Traralgon, Gembrook and Montrose, all in Gippsland, Victoria,

His son, Darren, is a current NTX Devil!

DANIEL MASON

Daniel started playing footy just a few years ago here in Dallas, and has become a great asset to the team and solid clubman.

In our launch year, Daniel joined the Devils and quickly showed his leadership on and off the field. It was recognized by the Board and shortly thereafter he was appointed Captain for our inaugural season

CASSIE LAIRD

While growing up in a small town in central Illinois, Cassie was never really the small town type of girl.

After graduating from Illinois State University and marrying Mike in 2011, Cassie moved to Australia and was introduced to footy.

Cass now calls Prosper home and is a super mom to 2 beautiful girls. While she is still getting used to Mike playing a “contact sport”, loves the excitement and speed of the game.

GREGG KIRKLAND

In his first season of Aussie Rules, Gregg has quickly become a core part of the team both on and off the field.

Gregg has a sporting background and came to us from Soccer, quickly adapting his running style to our game.

He is currently a Sales Executive for the Clearwave Corporation, a leader in patient engagement software solutions.

SURF VICTORIAN

A recent transplant to the DFW area from Las Vegas, Surf is a tried and true competitor – he has represented 3 countries at elite levels and was an Olympic hopeful for the Jamaican bobsled team.

Fun fact: Surf is also the National 100m record holder for American Samoa, competing in the 2009 world championship where Usain Bolt ran a 9.58!

As he drove to DFW from Nevada he was researching USAFL teams and came across the Devils and immediately knew which team he wanted to join.

Surf arrived on a Tuesday, trained Wednesday and was integral in the Devils first wins just 3 days later.

MIKE LAIRD

An Australian, Mike moved to northern DFW several years ago and now calls Prosper home.

Mike played footy growing up, switching the boots for a glove to play collegiate ball in the States, followed by professional baseball in Canberra.

He joined the Devils as a club close to home and quickly became part of the fabric and one of the clubs top players!

WILL LYON

Originally from the UK and playing Rugby all his life, Will tried Aussie Rules for the first time with the Devils and was instantly hooked.

Since coming on board, he’s quickly become a key player utilizing his running play and defensive mindset to contribute off a flank or stints in the midfield.

Will is the National Sales Manager at the Global Interactive Group (GIG).

Will is also involved in local Rugby at the Alliance Rugby Club, and father to future 2035 Devil, Fred.

ANDREW WINKELMEYER

Andrew, or ‘Winks’, has been a long time Sydney Swans supporter and picked up footy when moving to DFW from Arizona.

Winks is another former rugby player, picking up the skills of our game while bringing his trademark step to footy.

By day he is a microbiologist for First Baptist Health. He brings along a special brand of humor to the club and will often be seen with his wife, Erica, and kids, Adelaide and Arlo, at games and events.

Don’t be surprised if you see Winks in a new pair of boots every week.

TIM DINGESS

Introduced to the sport by Winks, Tim had no idea what he was getting into but was hooked after the first session.

An American footballer through high school, he has transitioned to the game well and is getting used to the additional running.

By day Tim is a software engineer, by night a bit of a party animal and on weekends now a solid forward pocket/flanker for the Devils!

DR BRENNAN RICHE

The team at Kinetic Center Dallas came on as medical sponsors for the Devils not really knowing much about the sport. Dr Brennan or ‘Doc’ as know around the club,  decided to come to a couple training sessions to see what it was actually all about and got hooked.

He’s turned into quite a handy player and learning how to put that powerlifting frame and strength to good use on the field!

PAUL BARNETT

While living in Australia Paul became a Sydney Swans supporter and has been a card holding member ever since.

Paul started playing footy several years ago in Dallas and joined the Devils not only as a player, but as Club Vice President in our launch year.

Paul currently works for Cisco and utilized his former experience in events to help keep the Devils coordinated and running smoothly!

DARREN GRAY

Every club has some legends and Darren has claim to that title at the Devils!

Darren and his wife Lara are Aussies living in DFW, brought here by military service. They’ve been a cornerstone of local footy, Darren being a former local coach before taking a brief break to return as a Devil and key experienced Devils player.

You only need to come to a practice or game to see his leadership shining through and he’ll be sorely missed when he returns to Australia at the end of the year!

Forever a Devil Darren.
