The Covid-19 rules and recommendations on this page were designed to help protect the health and well-being of our players, staff, and officials.
These rules are in addition to the rules and recommendations put in place by Governor Abbott and the CDC. Rules will be strictly enforced while recommendations will be encouraged.
If anyone does not believe they can abide by these rules, please refrain from registering. As Covid-19 either improves or worsens, these rules and recommendations are subject to change at a moment’s notice. We recommend that anyone with underlying health conditions abstain from playing or attending any club activities for the time being.
The virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread to others by infected persons who have few or no symptoms. Even if an infected person is only mildly ill, the people they spread it to may become seriously ill or even die, especially if that person is 65 or older with pre-existing health conditions that place them at higher risk. Because of the hidden nature of this threat, everyone should rigorously follow the practices specified in these protocols, all of which facilitate a safe and measured season for the Devils.
All players MUST complete the Devils participation waiver in addition to COVID waiver before they can participate. A COVID self assessment must also be completed before each session. Both of these are available through the Devils Registration process - accessible on the Membership page.
Required of Players
o Players are required to wear masks to and from training, only removing these once on the field.
o Players must not participate in any pre or post game/training handshakes or unnecessary contact.
o Players must not participate in any spitting.
o Players must not loiter or hold team meetings in park or parking lot after completion of any session.
Recommended of Players
o Players are recommended to wear masks during training.
o Players are recommended to sanitize their hands often.
o Players on sideline are recommended to remain 6 feet apart.
o Players are recommended not share any equipment where possible.
Required of Staff
o Staff will be strongly encouraged to wear gloves and masks.
o Staff will be required to enforce all Covid-19 rules.
o Staff will be trained on appropriate cleaning and disinfection, hand hygiene, and respiratory etiquette.
o Spectators will be allowed, but are recommended to stay 6 feet apart if not from the same household.
o It is recommended spectators wear masks.
