2023 BOARD AND MANAGEMENT

CURRENT STRUCTURE

The NTX Devils currently have several key Board positions. All positions are volunteers and each individual is a leader and experienced in their field.

The Devils seek to be a professionally run club, with an emphasis on our off field community involvement as much as our performance on field.

The Management group is always looking for additional volunteers, so if you’re passionate about football, wish to help a community organization grow or simply wish to be part of our community, please reach out via the contact us page. There is always something to be done for the club and individuals can be involved from taking on small projects or staffing events through to running club initiatives.

All enquiries can be submitted through the contact us form, or email [email protected]

PRESIDENT - PETER WOOD

Peter has been a Devil from day 1, joining as a Foundation Member, Club Sponsor and one of our biggest supporters. In 2022 Peter was an even bigger contributor, sponsoring the 9s competition, the Red Devils kit, the major sponsor of the Golf day and elevated his sponsorship for the regular USAFL season. Beyond sponsorship however, Peter has been a stalwart behind the scenes, guiding the club, decisions, direction and leading with passion. He comes with many year of business leadership experience and is the current Chairman of Karndean Flooring, a leading global flooring supplies company.

Peter is a die hard Collingwood Magpies supporter and been involved in various capacities in footy for longer than he’d like us to mention.

VICE PRESIDENT AND HEAD COACH - JAMES HENDERSON

Melbourne born and raised, James has been involved in several footy clubs in both Victoria and NSW as a player, coach and in management. James is extremely passionate about the game and it’s growth and focused on expanding the Australian Rules footprint in North Texas. James is a lifelong North Melbourne Kangaroos supporter.

James currently works as a Business Development leader at Optum, where he supports health systems and their leaders through strategy, revenue cycle, business development, analytics and much more, leveraging Optum’s robust technology, consulting and service offerings.

TREASURER AND SPONSORSHIPS MANAGER - JIMMY STEINKE

Jimmy won Clubman of the year in 2022 and for good reason. He joined the Devils and hardly missed a game or training session, pushing himself harder and further than most. He will be moving to Tulsa for 2023, still splitting his time between OK and TX, and still wanted to be able to give back to the club.

He holds Degrees and Masters in Accounting and is a Tax Project Manager at Carr, Riggs and Ingram and is extremely well positioned to be a financial steward for the club which is essential for performance and sustainability.

SECRETARY - CHAD SIDDONS

Chad will continue his role as Club Secretary. Chad quietly announced his retirement from playing at the end of the 2022 season (but promises he’ll still be at some training sessions!) and wished to continue to contribute to the club in a non-playing role. Chad first learned about Aussie Rules when living in Australia and playing 9s in Melbourne. Chad’s wife, Whitney, can usually be found with him at games and volunteering at club events and the Siddons are a core part of the fabric of our footy community.

Chad is a Consulting Systems Engineer at World Wide Technology, and has a long history in consulting and IT services.

BOARD MEMBER - WILL LYON

Will has been associated and leading sports clubs for years, still an active Board member at Alliance Rugby Club in Keller and continues on the Devils Board for another season. Will’s playing season ended early in 2022 due to an unfortunate and recurring injury and we hope he can come back in 2023 and return to being a major contributor on field as he is off. In 2022 Will organized the inaugural Devils Golf Fundraiser, selling out the event and raising substantial funds which went back to the players for travel for Nationals.

Will is a Sydney Swans supporter after having lived in Sydney for several years. In his professional career, Will is a Solutions Sales Executive at The Advisory Board.
